We have invested a tremendous amount of effort in making Arnacon a truly decentralized solution. Countless hours of testing and building have gone into creating systems that avoid central points of failure. It’s not a simple task - but at the right moments, it is incredibly rewarding.

Our motivation is straightforward: decentralization dramatically simplifies our operational responsibilities. We rely on stable blockchain networks because, from our perspective, they represent the new Google Cloud and AWS. They provide a massive, dependable, globally distributed computer that we can leverage instead of traditional cloud services.

Within Arnacon, we designed an infrastructure for service providers - the entities that ultimately deliver services to end users. They operate using our decentralized architecture while bringing their own expertise to offer specialized services with predictable reliability.

By combining peer-to-peer technologies with blockchain as a decentralized compute layer, we can push beyond the limitations of centralized systems. Our long-term goal is clear: reaching a point where attacking our service would require attacking the blockchain itself. That level of resilience is the strongest defense available - stronger even than what Cloudflare can offer today.

There is still a long journey ahead, but we have already overcome major challenges, including fully decentralizing “discovery” and “push notifications”.

The result of all this work will be a smooth, seamless, and comfortable experience for end users.
