Private Identity

Itโ€™s how we register to apps.

How we message.

How we call.

How strangers suddenly know something very personal about us - forever.

While building Arnacon, I kept asking myself a simple question:

That question led us to two concepts that look similar - but feel very different once you use them:

Both identities behave exactly the same:

You can call

You can send messages

You can interact like WhatsApp or any phone-based app

Allย without revealing who you really are.

No phone number.

No personal data leakage.

Just communication.

So whatโ€™s the difference?

๐“๐ž๐ฆ๐ฉ ๐ˆ๐๐ž๐ง๐ญ๐ข๐ญ๐ฒย has an expiration date.

Anywhere betweenย 24 hours and 30 daysย โ€” and then it disappears.

๐๐ซ๐ข๐ฏ๐š๐ญ๐ž ๐ˆ๐๐ž๐ง๐ญ๐ข๐ญ๐ฒย stays with you untilย you decide to burn it.

Thatโ€™s it.

Same power.

Same privacy.

Different lifespan.

And suddenly, a lot of everyday interactions feelโ€ฆ safer.

Ordering a table at a restaurant.

Buying from an online shop.

Talking to someone you just met.

Any situation where giving away yourย realย identity feels unnecessary.

In all those moments, a private identity is simply better

than handing over your most personal details.

I like to think about it the same way I think aboutย virtual debit cards.

You donโ€™t use your main card everywhere.

You generate a virtual one for a new merchant.

If something feels off - you delete it.

No drama.

No risk.

Private identities work the same way.

And once you get used to that idea,

going back feelsโ€ฆ strange.
